The ultimate challenge
Book this date into your diary. Get permission to be away for the weekend of October 15-17 and come and join us to train for the ultimate challenge, the Ironmaori event which will be held on 4 December, Ahuriri, Napier.
The training weekend will prepare you for your ultimate challenge, the Ironmaori, a half Ironman event.
This year the One Heart Many Lives programme and kaupapa has included this training weekend in the event calendar for those tane Maori and others, who have been involved with the One Heart Many Lives kaupapa over the past five years and who are now taking up 'te wero' to get fitter and faster.

Where will it be held?
The weekend will be held at different sites in Wellington:
- Te Kainga marae: Accommodation, meals, team based planning
- Wellington Aquatic centre: Training and team competition
- Tri-training at Scorching Bay
What expenses will be covered?
For the teams and individuals who join us:
- Accommodation (at the marae)
- Meals at the marae
- Access to the pool and training sessions*.
- Trainers time and information/ education sessions
- Guest speakers- Ironmaori specialists and Lee Parore

* This does not include gym sessions.These cost approximately $20 /session. This cost needs to be met by each person who wishes to add a gym session into an already busy training schedule.
